TAG Honors PGi as a Top 10 Innovative Company

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, has chosen PGi  as one of its Top 10 Innovative Technology Companies in Georgia.

The Top 10 most innovative technology companies are chosen from among TAG’s Top 40 2013 list and were chosen based on a number of criteria, including: degree of innovation; scope and financial impact of innovation; likelihood of success; and promotion of Georgia’s innovative efforts nationally and internationally.

“PGi is honored to be named a TAG Top 10 Innovative Technology Company,” said Boland T. Jones, PGi founder, chairman and CEO. “From our beginnings over 20 years ago, we’ve grown to over 1,800 employees and have a global presence in 25 countries. We are dedicated to delivering the best virtual collaboration experience possible to our business customers around the world. PGi is committed to meeting the continually evolving needs of our customers through meaningful technology innovation, such as that displayed in our award-winning online meetings products, iMeet® and GlobalMeet®.”

John Keane, PGi Senior Director, was one of the presenters during last week’s Georgia Technology Summit. To hear his presentation, alongside the other nine honorees, click the image below to watch the video.

This year’s Top 10 Companies were selected from among over 90 applications submitted by companies from across Georgia. Companies selected to be in the Top 10 will be given the opportunity to present at the annual Georgia Technology Summit before a crowd of more than 1,000 of the state’s technology leaders.
