In this inaugural video edition of Collaborative Conversations, I was fortunate enough to track down one of the busiest people at PGi: David Guthrie, award-winning technology executive and PGi’s Chief Technology Officer.

I asked David about the role of a CTO, how to balance innovation with serving the needs of business customers and his own take on the idea of a “perfect product:”

“I really think it’s about the user — it’s about the user experience. I think it makes them feel good when they use the application, right? It’s not frustrating, it’s not ‘how do I do this” . . . I think the perfect application really makes the user feel good about themselves.”
