PGi Announces First-Ever Customer Award Finalists and Winners

PGi unveiled its first-ever Customer and Affiliate recognition program, “the EDGEE awards.” This new annual awards program highlights unique collaboration use cases and shows how customers are working with and leveraging PGi’s solutions to help give their end-users a competitive EDGE in collaboration and communications. Here are our category finalists and winners:

Best Problem Solver

Finalist: Kushal Berera, Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Bank of America

Kushal Berera is part of the Global Research team at Bank of America, currently utilizing PGi Event Conferencing to stream their virtual events.

Winner: Nicolas Abella, Corporate Clinical Director, Community Health Systems

Nicolas turned to iMeetLive after he experienced several issues with call quality and excessive costs with a previous service provider. With iMeetLive’s premium features such as high-end reporting/analytics, live, on-demand functionality, ease of use and complete flexibility of each event, Nicolas has improved collaboration across the hospital’s 137 locations, and has reduced the cost of his national training events by over 50 percent.

Best Business Impact

Finalist: Shawn Wheeler, Vice President for Global Operations, CRDF Global

Shawn implemented iMeet Central as CRDF Global’s corporate intranet, connecting 100+ users from around the world on PGi’s collaborative platform to access files, participate in discussions and share data.

Winner: Alanna Boulton, Business Process Assistant, Central Health

Alanna uses GlobalMeet to help increase training communication with different departments that could otherwise not have met in the past due to distance. Since GlobalMeet was implemented, the number of enrollment submissions has gone up 17.3 percent and has increased the enrollment success rate by 6 percent.

Best Event

Finalist: Joe Landry, Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives & Business Partnership, ICF

ICF hosts several all-hands video webcasts each year using iMeetLive to over 1700 internal guests. They use the tool because it allows for an intuitive interface for participants and a seamless experience for their event managers.

Winner: Adele Hazan, Senior Director, Digital Communications, The College Entrance Exam Board (CEEB)

With an initiative geared towards engaging parents whose children were in the process of preparing for college, the CEEB needed a webcasting solution that was secure and intuitive for attendees while providing important analytics. Leveraging iMeetLive, Adele and her team kicked off the series with seven events and nearly 2,000 participants on each.

Best IT Superhero

Finalist: Brian Hamblin, IT Support Specialist, New Indy Containerboard

Brian leverages GlobalMeet Audio for his internal team meetings to relay important technology and program updates for the company.

Winner: Brooke Warren, Senior IT Support Technical Analyst, Teva Pharmaceuticals

Brooke’s insight and willingness to spend numerous hours collaborating on testing, evaluating services, sharing experiences and reviewing new products has ensured smoother roll-outs of those technologies throughout Teva. She’s a true IT Rockstar.

Master Agent of the Year

Winner: Intelisys

Intelisys is the fastest growing master agent in the world with a supplier base of 135 different providers. As part of their blended channel model, and in correlation with PGi, they have expanded their portfolio and have driven twice as many leads year-over-year.

Top Collaborator of the Year

Finalist:  Stephanie Moss, IT Business Analyst, OpenText

Stephanie leverages GlobalMeet, iMeetLive, Event Conferencing and Agenday which address a variety of collaboration needs from day to day meetings, sales demonstrations, town halls and executive level calls.

Winner: Martin Hayes, Editorial Image Processing Manager, Shopbop

Shopbop uses iMeet Central to help drive their day-to-day business. Martin manages, tracks and collaborates in thousands of PGi workspaces each year. In using PGi’s project management tool, Hayes and his team have been able to automate business functions and juggle more than 120 projects each month.
